The Big Issue Street Football Festival returns in April 2012, bringing together players and fans from across the country for 10 days of soccer action at Darling Harbour, Sydney. Staged on a floating football pitch at Cockle Bay from April 11-22, the festival will incorporate corporate, government and junior events.
It also includes the National Championships of The Big Issue’s Community Street Soccer Program, which supports people experiencing homelessness, disability and long-term unemployment.
To be part of the colour and excitement of this event, register a team in our corporate, government agency or junior competitions, or come along to cheer on participating teams.
The Corporate Cup – 2012
Corporate teams will have the chance to get active and develop team skills while meeting and supporting participants from the Community Street Soccer Program. Following the success of the inaugural event, the competition has been expanded to include 15 teams in 2012.
